Book Review: Presidential Economics

With the current economic situation we're in you'd think this book was written just for today by an enterprising writer hoping to cash in on today's woes. This book, whose latest edition was published in 1994, is just the opposite - it's full of fascinating insights into the social conditions that helped fuel presidential economic policies since the Great Depression. Herbert Stein writes from a unique perspective, having served as the chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers under Presidents Nixon and Ford. You can read my review in our book review list.
